At the end of this session participant will leave with plans, materials, and ideas for implementing instruction of text-dependent analysis in the middle level ELA classroom. This session will model a unit on TDA instruction that allows teachers to target student weaknesses with written analysis and teach relevant strategies students can count on during timed-writing or (test-writing) situations.
