At the end of this session, participants will learn strategies to become culturally responsive teachers. They will learn how to use culturally responsive pedagogy and concepts to increase student learning. Participants will learn immediate skills and ideas to implement in classrooms to assist students and adults. In addition, session topics will include scenarios and activities incorporating Culturally Responsive Teaching, Relationships, and PBIS providing specific strategies for implementation next week. This session is for all grade levels. You will leave with a variety of strategies, examples, and guidelines to increase student learning and reduce discipline referrals.
