8:00-8:50 Session 1 (Whole group session for the NAHS site in the NAHS cafeteria*)
9:00-9:50 Session 2
10:00-10:50 Session 3
11:00-11:50 Session 4 (Whole group session for the LMMS site in the LMMS gymnasium*)
11:50-12:45 Chick Fil-A Lunch provided
12:45-3:30 PLC Teams (Whole group session for the AHS site will be divided to address PK-2 (1:00) and 3-5 (2:45) in the AHS cafeteria*)

At the end of this session, participants will be ready to implement visual thinking strategies in their classrooms. Visual literacy can lead to deep comprehension and understanding and serve as a gateway to higher order thinking about text. Join us to learn how we can help our youngest students become deep thinkers ready to take on the task of Text Dependent Analysis as well as inferential and critical thinking skills in a developmentally appropriate way. These strategies are easy to implement at all grade levels and will help you reach ALL of your students. We will share arts integrated strategies as well as information from Project Zero that will help you find new and innovative ways to help stretch your students thinking and get them excited about learning.
